I deleted a photo by mistake. Can I get it back?
Usually, yes. While you sort, tap Undo. Before you delete, Last look shows every photo you trashed: tap one to rescue it. After you delete, open the Photos app › Albums › Recently Deleted, choose the photo and tap Recover. iOS keeps deleted photos there for up to 30 days. If your iCloud storage is over its limit, iOS may remove them right away.
Why didn't my storage go down after deleting?
Deleted photos move to Recently Deleted first and still take up space there until iOS removes them, after up to 30 days. To remove them sooner, open Photos › Albums › Recently Deleted and delete them there. That's why Trashy says “moved to Recently Deleted” and shows sizes as “about”.
How do I give Trashy access to my photos, or change it?
Trashy asks for access the first time you sort. To change it later, open your iPhone's Settings, find Trashy in the list of apps, then tap Photos. With limited access, Trashy can only sort the photos you've picked.
How do I restore my purchases?
In Trashy, open Settings › Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought with. You'll find Restore on the plans page, too.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
On your iPhone, open Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Trashy. From inside Trashy: Settings › Subscription › Manage subscription. To avoid a charge at the end of a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If you stop paying, you can still empty the trash, rescue photos, browse your Keepers and keep everything you've earned.
How do I ask for a refund?
Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, or tell us at support@trashyapp.co.uk and we'll point you the right way.
I got a new iPhone. Will my progress move over?
Yes, if iCloud is on for Trashy on both iPhones. Your decisions, stickers, level, coins and items sync through your own iCloud. Subscriptions and purchases come back with Restore Purchases.
Can I turn Trashy's sounds off?
Tap the sound button next to Trashy to mute him. Settings › Sound & haptics has three switches: Sound effects, Haptics and Trashy talks. Your iPhone's Silent mode silences him too.
What reminders does Trashy send?
Only the ones you turn on. If you start a free trial, Trashy can remind you before it ends. Daily nudges about new photos are a separate, optional switch, at most once a day and never during quiet hours. You can turn either off in Settings.
How do I delete my Trashy data?
Deleting the app removes its data from your iPhone. To remove it from iCloud, open Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage › Trashy. More in the Privacy Policy.
Accessibility
Every swipe in Trashy has a button too, so you can sort with VoiceOver, Switch Control or one finger. Reduce Motion swaps animations for still pictures. Trash and Keep never rely on color alone: each has its own side, icon and word.
